Wants vs Needs

We always seem to know what we want.
I want this.
I want that.

But, if we think about it… we don’t really seem to know what we TRULY need. We confuse our wants with our needs. Need and want are two VERY different things, but we still get these two confused. I am totally included in this, until I remind myself that I am VERY clear about what the differences are!

Sometimes, we can figure out what we NEED with real internal work or reflection, but then get sidetracked with what we WANT.

Our prehistoric brain can even turn our wants to need to survive by tricking ourselves that we NEED that WANT to survive. Tricky freakin’ brain! Ha ha! We dont live like that anymore… but sometimes

Identify, when thoughts/wants/needs come into your brain & truly realize which is which.

This will help you with anxiety, with the fear of missing out (like seeing a commercial & thinking “THAT’s WHAT I NEED, instead of realizing NO I DON’T), or feeling stuck, etc.
